Take Out
I enjoy depicting the various planes of these stiff paper cartons, each with a subtly different value depending on their angle. Such an elegant design for a common container, it always gives a little pleasure to open and discover what it holds.

Beginning of a small series of hand tools. Something to balance out the flowers and makeup. I embrace them all.

Tea and Cherries
Striking colors and clarity made me want to paint this. I think I'll be painting more glass, more liquids. Enjoyable to look at and to capture.
